Singer: Don't tell my fans about my death until after CNY

She cared for her fans so much that she instructed her lawyer to keep her death a secret from them until after the 15 days of Chinese New Year.

Taiwanese songstress Fong Feifei was also still writing birthday cards and Chinese New Year cards in the month before she died from lung cancer.

Before she died on Jan 3, she chose her obituary photo and left a message to her fans, saying "I've led a happy and interesting life. Thank you, my brothers and sisters, for the exciting moments I've experienced.

"For the songs I've yet to sing, I will sing to you in my next life."
