THEY had no formal training in, among other things, crowd control.
And when they were deployed, they were not told what time they were supposed to meet.
Some, who were deployed to stations other than those they were supposed to be sent to, were not prepared and were unfamiliar with that station’s layout.
That was the lot of 14 Customer Service Teams (CSTs) deployed during the train disruptions on Dec 15 and 17 last year.
