One woman snapped a photo of a man (above) who had allegedly taken upskirt photos of her on an escalator in an MRT station.

Another woman, who left her iPhone in a taxi, managed to snap a picture of the man who picked it up and did not return it.

The former, a 22-year-old sales manager, followed the alleged pervert into a train, chased him and alerted SMRT officers, who detained the man until the police showed up and arrested him.

The latter, an IT consultant in her 30s, had an app installed on her iPhone which is activated when anyone tries to unlock the phone using a wrong passcode or tries to turn it off when it is locked.
