Some register for infant care before baby is born

A parent put her yet-to-be-born baby on the waiting list for a spot at several infant-care centres when she was just two months pregnant.

Parents said practical reasons such as popularity and proximity to their homes come into play when they choose an infant-care centre.

Popular infant-care centres said they are running at full capacity and advised parents-to-be to book spots long before their children are born.
