Special key leads cops to stolen Segway

A Slovenian travel blog writer based in Singapore parked his Segway at a bus stop behind Ngee Ann City and when he returned about 4 hours later, it was gone.

He reported the loss to police and to all Segway's regional distributors.

One month later, a man called the Segway distributor in Hong Kong, saying that he needed a replacement key for his machine. After checks with their Singapore counterparts and piecing together the puzzle, the police were called in and when they went to the man’s home, they found the missing two-wheeler.
