Singaporean DJs are making their mark in the world -- and getting booked for some of the hottest gigs at dance festivals around the globe.
For instance, DJ Aldrin, whose real name is Mr Aldrin Quek, 42, has played at Ibiza in Spain, arguably the world’s top dance party destination.
Mr Quek predicts that more local disc jockeys will join the international ranks very soon.
“The Asian dance music scene has developed a fair bit over the last decade,” he says.
“With the help of the internet and social media platforms, clubs around the world are slowly beginning to support and book more local DJs.”
