Sticker Lady goes legit

A gigantic sticker has been pasted on an alley way wall.

But this time, no one will be arresting Miss Samantha Lo, 25, for vandalism. On Thursday, the artist completed the artwork for The Substation.

Its general manager Emily Hoe said the arts centre's side alley is a canvas for street artists to display their works.

Miss Lo, dubbed the “Sticker Lady” after she allegedly put up stickers on traffic lights, with phrases such as “Press Once Can Already”, was arrested on June 3 for vandalism. She is currently out on bail.

Ms Ho said of Miss Lo's art: “We liked what she was doing and there’s a very strong element of local identity."
