Suspect in Afro Asia fire case led back to building

Govindasamy Nallaiah was led, handcuffed, into the Afro Asia Building yesterday.

He was brought there to assist investigations into a fire that took place at the building along Robinson Road last Wednesday.

The 66-year-old unemployed man was subsequently charged last Friday with the murder of 56-year-old Low Foong Meng on August 12 whose body was found following the fire.
