Sylvia Lim accuses HDB of shifting goalposts

WORKERS' Party chairman Sylvia Lim has accused the HDB of shifting the goalposts after the WP-held Aljunied Group Representation Constituency lost 26 public sites in June.

In a statement released to the media, Ms Lim questioned the timing of the return of the sites to HDB, which happened before WP took over the running of Aljunied Town Council.

The sites were then leased out to the People's Association.

The statement follows a posting on Facebook by fellow Aljunied GRC MP Chen Show Mao about a retracted invitation to a Seventh Month dinner celebration.
