Tan eyeing podium finish

Dorr McElrea racing team driver Yuey Tan is tipping Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso to finish first in tomorrow’s SingTel Singapore Grand Prix.

He also hopes his favourite driver, Michael Schumacher, makes an impression in the night race. Taking inspiration from the two drivers, Tan will be hoping that he comes up tops in the Class B category of the Porsche Carrera Cup.

The 30-year-old is hoping to make a step up to the Class A with a podium finish tomorrow. Speaking to The New Paper after his practice run yesterday, when he finished second his category, Tan said he is ready for the race of his life.
