SHE WAS rushed to the hospital after suffering from a severe and rare inflammation of the heart muscle which caused her heart to stop for 45 minutes.
She fell into a coma, but fortunately, the secondary four student Cherie Lim recovered and found a new lease of life.
The top student, who just turned 16, now feels that "life is not all about studies".
