Teens sharing suggestive images - it can haunt them later in life

When she turned 18, she exchanged suggestive pictures with her boyfriend whom she had met online.

But when the relationship ended, the pictures were leaked. She became an emotional wreck because she was worried her friends would see the pictures.

It could have been worse. Other people became victims of financial or sexual extortion.

Counsellors and psychologists The New Paper spoke to are concerned about this trend of sharing suggestive pictures online.

They warn teens that such pictures can come back to haunt them.
