Terse exchanges at Yishun triple murder trial

A series of disagreements sparked terse exchanges between the prosecutor and an expert witness for murder accused Wang Zhijian yesterday.

Justice Chan Seng Onn had to interrupt the exchanges between Deputy Senior State Counsel Hay Hung Chun and consultant psychiatrist Tommy Tan several times to clarify matters.

Dr Tan was testifying as defence counsels Kelvin Lim and Jason Dendroff’s expert witness for Wang, 45, who is accused of killing his lover, her daughter and their co-tenant.
