Carlos Tevez kept Manchester City’s ailing title hopes alive with a hat-trick in last weekend’s 6-1 win over Norwich.
His performances since returning from exile only strengthen the notion that Roberto Mancini was right in banishing him from the first-team set-up earlier in the season.
The Argentinian (above) is playing with more fire in his belly, now that he has something to prove.
And although he has gone some way in regaining the trust of the City faithful, I don’t believe we’ll see him at the Etihad Stadium next season. The dressing room just doesn’t seem big enough for both him and Mancini, and his volatile nature means the next meltdown is a mere substitution away.
