'There's a python in your taxi'

Taxi driver R. Chua, 56, has had his fair share of strange passengers. But none has been as strange as the one that tried to get into his cab last week.

Mr Chua had been about to leave his Shunfu Road flat last Monday morning when he got a call from his company, CityCab, telling him there was a snake in his taxi.

When he went to his cab, he found an almost 4m-long python curled up in the engine compartment.

Said Mr Chua: “I couldn’t believe my eyes."
