THEY broke with routine to start queuing from 6am.

The crowd of more than 200 turned up at EpiCentre@Ion Orchard all had the same objective: to get hold of an iPad 2.

The second, sleeker and more powerful iteration of the iPad was launched in Singapore yesterday.

However, some had to go home empty-handed as the store ran out of stock.
