What a shame for a pastor to do such a thing !

Lessons for others, the consequences,  if they want to be like him.

How I sees it:-

Instead of doing good for the community, they have lived it up on charity donation from their fellow church goer. The latter have all been brainwashed not knowing where their hard earned donation goes to.

Maybe it is about time that we institutionalised all donation and have these publicly and properly audited to prevent such pathetic misuse.

In all my christian life, I always told myself and my family members that only God is sinless and holy, we cannot trust any man on this earth after all Lord Jesus's precious blood was shed for all his creations, men and women. Sometimes I do not even trust myself, being tempted at times. It was a sad day for christians not only in Singapore but all over the world as news travel fast and globally with internet. Singapore authority spent two solid years with vast financial, manpower and time resources and dug out these dirts with concrete evidences to charge the founding pastor KH and his four croonies managing CHC. I am not rubbing salt into their wounds but Singapore government never act recklessly to charge a megachurch founder unless they are convinced wrongdoings are committed. The Attorney General, Law Minister, investigators and Minister for Home Affairs must have done their homework to arrive at this conclusion that it's time to disclose publicly their findings and charge them in court. Take the case of NKF and Ren Ci scandals, those two founders were convicted with concrete evidences as well. It will be a face losing situation for the government if the court failed to convict the accuses. Singapore government are not stupid, so are the prosecuters building a criminal case against them. If honestly the pastor and his four croonies are really guilty, hopefully they act remorsely, confess their crime and plead for the judge's leniency to spare them a lengthy public trial. All of us make mistakes, one way or the other but God is always gracious to forgive if we sincerely repent. I hope the pastor will not quote bible verses again in his defence cause if he is innocent, the living God will save him and God knows what is going on in all his churches on earth. Hopefully his wife will be spared for the sake of their seven years old son who at least need a parent to raise him up. Their son defintely do not deserve to suffer for the sins of his parents, hopefully the government have mercy on their son. God please help the child, Amen!

Assuming he gave $1 each to 5 poor members (and they will be singing him praises everyday everywhere).  Assuming he gave $2 each to 5 volunteers to run some Charity Home Services (and he gets free news coverage for volunteerism).  Assuming he spend $5 and arrange buses to all parts of Singapore to pick up members to church (and the whole congregation is thankful for the free transport and will GIRO more money to him).  That’s how he “buys people’s hearts with people’s money”.  How much has been given as love gifts to him?  To divert a small amount back to the poor & needy is loose change.  Wake up!  If proven guilty, please DO NOT FINE all these evil-doers  -  it is just loose change anyway.  Get him to eat "black bean rice" may be a better solution.

This is the biggest scandal involving such a big amount, much bigger than NKF and Ren Ci scandals. If the pastor and the four others are found guilty, they can expect much lengthy jail terms they can ever dream off. I'm disgusted to learn that they threatened to sue a former church member, Roland Poon, who questioned whether church funds were utilized to finance Sun Ho's singing career. Roland had also contributed much money to the church building fund, in return what he got...threats from CHC leaders. He had to pay huge sum of money for apology advertisement to these scums out of fear. These heartless, ungrateful leaders' act were unpardonable and if convicted, you can bet the Court will show them no mercy. They had done great injustice to church member Roland Poon and what else, we will know when the trial starts. CHC members, please be neutral and judge yourselves after the trial ended with loads of concrete evidences presented by the prosecuters, the true colours of these five or more CHC leaders involved in this scandal will be brought to light. As brother-in-christ, we have nothing against against CHC members, we are one family of God but out of love, we do not want any of you to be short-changed like Roland Poon. Do not create a ugly scene outside Subordinate Court, this is not the right attitude of a genuine christian, you can be charged for rioting and CHC will lose reputation. Remember all churches in this world belong to God, not to the pastors or church members. We come to this world naked with no possession and will perish naked too. God bless CHC members, keep them calm and forcast on God, not man even pastor. We are all sinners, one way or the other.
