England meet Italy at the Olympic Stadium tomorrow morning in a Euro 2012 quarter-final clash.

If England manager Roy Hodgson is to be believed, then England are about to remove their straitjacket and take the game to the Azzurri - a major shift from their soak-and-strike tactics seen so far in this tournament.

The magnitude of the task is not lost on England captain Steven Gerrard, who was reminded of his failure to go past the quarter-final stage as an England international. But he feels that the Three Lions are finally showing signs of fulfilling their potential.
