TNP report helps him win scholarship

After two unsuccessful scholarship applications, Mr Lim Wei Zhong thought he would never be able to get a scholarship.

He was previously featured in The New Paper for being one of the top students in Temasek Polytechnic despite suffering from enhanced physiological tremor, a medical condition that results in slurred speech, shaky hands, writing difficulty and slow reaction time.

His inspiring tale of overcoming the odds caught the eye of Singapore Power and he was offered a scholarship.
