IT happened in a matter of seconds.
Last Thursday evening, Mr Abdul Ghafor looked away for a brief moment, but it was enough time for his grandson, 3-year-old Al-Zakhiif, to cross the carpark at Petir Road on his own.
The boy was then knocked over by a lorry that was believed to be parking at a facing lot and his left arm was then pinned under a rear wheel.
Once he was freed, Al-Zakhiif was rushed to the hospital.
Fortunately, after surgery and a week in hospital, was discharged from hospital last evening.
