Opening here on Aug 2, Total Recall is a new take on the 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger mind-bending sci-fi flick.

But according to the cast, stepping into Arnie’s big shoes was never part of the plan in their remake.

The main difference between the movies is that the reboot has two kick-ass babes in Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel to carry the action load, instead of the largely one-man Arnie show.

Leading man Farrell, 36, told FiRST that he and Beckinsale had a "very violent and physical" scene since their "marriage didn’t end pleasantly".
