Trailer driver wins $7,000 in cash with TNP Bingo

Trailer driver Balakumaran Gnasekaran, 28, walked away $7,000 richer on Sunday evening (July 22).

He won the cash by playing The New Paper's Bingo contest, TNP’s way of thanking and rewarding readers.

The money is about three times Mr Balakumaran's monthly salary and the bachelor said he plans to save it.

He added: “This is the first time I’ve won so much money in one go.”

A new Bingo game starts today with $1,000. To play, readers need to get a Bingo card, like the one attached to the front page of Monday's (July 23) paper. Other prizes you could win are a Samsung 46" 3D LED Smart TV (including two 3-D glasses) and an Xbox 4GB Kinect Bundle.
