The road was busy at the time as he was being attacked by about a dozen motorcyclists, but only one motorist stopped his car by the side of the road and helped to call the police, said Mr Li Xue Song.

The undergraduate (above), 24, said he had been driving on Victoria Street and heading towards Chinatown when a bunch of about a dozen motorcyclists surrounded his car on Friday night.

When the motorcycle behind him hit his car, he got out to inspect the damage. Suddenly, he felt something hard hit his face. Then, he said, the other bikers used their helmets to hit him.

Police later arrested seven males and three females.

Jail is the only place for these 10 idiots to learn their lesson. Confiscate their motorbikes! Do not let them out on bail!

TOTALLY AGREE .   The law for these hooligans shud be stringent.

Li must had done something to instigate those guys to bash him, there is no fire unless someone lighted it. Offcourse nobody can take the law into their hands, however after investigation, the police should caution Lin if he started this mess and as for the attackers, let the law teach them the hard way to be civilized citizens.
