Unnerved, pedestrians go underground

Following the recent car accidents at Bugis, one woman who works nearby said she now uses the underpass to cross the road.

She and others who work in the area have been unnerved by the two high-speed car crashes at the junction of Rochor Road and Victoria Street that have left eight people dead or injured in the last two weeks.

But taxi drivers are not so concerned and said they will not avoid the junction.
