Visit to pub ends in tragedy

After a hard day's work, 32-year-old Chin Hoe Boon went to a pub for drinks with some colleagues on Sept 7 last year.

Two hours later, Chin, an IT analyst at Deutsche Bank, was found unconscious in a public toilet cubicle in an office building at 8 Shenton Way.

He had severe head injuries and was bubbling from the mouth when he was discovered. And there was vomit in the toilet pan.

Yesterday in court, State Coroner Victor Yeo found that it was likely that Chin had injured his head from a fall in the toilet on September 7, last year.
