Some Spidey fans are up in arms that “inexperienced” director Marc Webb (above) was handed the chance to direct The Amazing Spider-Man.

He may have directed only one film before – (500) Days Of Summer – but they forget that he’s also put together more than 100 music videos.

His experience shooting rock stars has actually aided him behind the camera of this highly-anticipated reboot of the Spider-Man franchise.
