Wendi Deng slaps Rupert Murdoch's attacker during committee hearing

AN ATTACK on Rupert Murdoch was foiled - by his wife.

The media mogul was going through a British parliamentary committee hearing for the phone hacking scandal surrounding his disgraced and defunct News Of The World when a man tried to hit him with white foam on a pie dish.

However, his third wife, Ms Wendi Deng, 42, who was seated behind Mr Murdoch, came to her husband's defence and slapped the man as police rushed in to arrest him.

Wendi Deng is a real tiger mom. What she did was quite a violent scene. Through parliamentary hearings for the News of the Globe cell phone hacking problem, 80-year-old Rupert Murdoch was attacked by a man carrying a shaving cream pie. But Murdoch's wife wouldn't let the attacker get away with it. Wendi Deng, 42, released an urgent counter-offensive against the man who would smear her spouse in his darkest hour. Her damaging left hook, right-handed palm hit and burning nature have catapulted Deng to the name of “Tiger Mom,” replacing writer Amy Chua's stern matriarch.
