Some netizens grumbled when they found out recently about a dining etiquette, wine appreciation and meal preparation workshop organised for some government scholarship holders from the Ministry of National Development which cost over $6,000.
“High pay and still got high life,” sniped one netizen.
But their whines were dismissed by experts in the field, who say such courses are not just common but also important in teaching young professionals how to behave with etiquette and decorum while abroad.
