Wild boars in the Old Upper Thomson Road area have been in the news recently, especially after the wild boar attack on two people at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park on Friday.
But Madam Chee May Eng, 64, who has lived in the area for more than 30 years, was unperturbed. Over the weekend, she put her her baby grandson in a stroller and took him on her usual walk around the area.
She said: “We are not scared.... It (having wild boars around) is part and parcel of living here.”
