Why does North East CDC have so many "Likes"?

Among the five Community Development Councils (CDCs), North East Community Development Council (NECDC) stands out for having the most "Likes” on its Facebook page - close to 12,000.

This is more than five times the number for the next most-popular CDC - Central CDC, with more than 2,200 "Likes".

But it is no fluke. NECDC had started actively engaging residents through Facebook about a year ago.
