SHE HAD become increasingly short-tempered over the last year.

Madam Tan Sze Sze was also fiercely protective of her only child, three-year-old Jerald Chin Le Hui.

At one point, the 31-year-old told her mother that life had become a torture following constant fights with her husband, who even made a police report to allow him access to Jerald over weekends.

Madam Tan's struggle for her son ended when she was found floating face-down in Bedok Reservoir yesterday morning - holding on to her son.
