Woodlands crash victim didn't even hear car coming

The accident was so sudden she literally did not know what hit her.

Madam Ho Bee Keng (above), 35, and her family were walking on the pavement along Woodlands Drive 14 at about 5.45pm on Wednesday when a car mounted the kerb and hit them.

Her two sons were sent hurtling through the air and landed a few metres away. The car then passed them before skidding to a stop about 20m away.

Her mother-in-law, Madam Gwee Ham Siau, 64, died in hospital at 8pm that night.
