THE S-League will feature 12 teams for the 2013 campaign, including this season’s wooden-spoonist Woodlands Wellington.
S-League chief executive officer Lim Chin informed The New Paper that he met with Rams chairman Hussainar Aziz yesterday and assured the club of their place in the league.
TNP reported yesterday that the northern-based club could sit out next year’s campaign if they did not satisfy the S-league management’s “review” process. Less than 24 hours later, Lim said a decision has been made.
It is believed that the Rams, who finished bottom of the league for the past three years, had previously not convinced the S-League they were self-sustainable for the season ahead.
