She was walking out of her bedroom yesterday when she was startled by a loud bang from outside her window.

Looking out, Madam Pava, a 32-year-old housewife, saw an LRT train stalled in the middle of the tracks with passengers inside.

SMRT said that two of the three Bukit Panjang LRT services were disrupted at about 4.45pm yesterday due to a train fault between Bukit Panjang and Senja stations.

Eleven passengers were evacuated and they walked along the tracks to Senja station, said the Singapore Civil Defence Force.

No one was injured in the incident.

This is happen when u never upgrade your system. If u service every time and it were never happen always. Employ more workers to maintain the system. The spare parts should be original made and not a cheap parts to maintain the system. Every company should take care about employee need also to have a good services and same to SMRT also.
