Black Eyed Peas to perform for Johor Sultan's coronation

Big names like Black Eyed Peas and Korean girl pop artist, T-ara, are two of the music groups that will be performing at a free, four day music festival in Danga Bay, to commemorate the Sultan of Johor's coronation.

From March 26 to 29, concert-goers will be entertained in an open-air concert that was organised by Johor Tourism Department, in association with the Iskandar Waterfront Holdings Sdn Bhd​

According to New Straits Times Online, Johor Tourism's chairman for domestic trade and consumerism, Datuk Tee Siew Kiong, said at a press conference that they were expecting a huge crowd for the event.

"We expect some 50,000 people would come to the concert each night." 

"Each night will feature differant artists. After the concert ends, a spectacular fireworks display will be held."

Other big stars include Indonesia's Rossa, Korea's Sistar, Taiwanese Fuying and Sam, Malaysian artistes Sheila Majid, Jacklyn Victor, Penny Tai and Shila Amzah. 

Other events like F3000 Power Boat Race, Cycleton Around Johor, Beach Sports, Boats Floats Procession and fireworks display with also be happening during the period of the celebrations.

This is the first time the Black Eyed Peas will be performing in Johor.
