Ex-supermodel Janice Dickinson claims actor Bill Cosby sexually attacked her

Various women have made numerous allegations of sexual abuse against Bill Cosby in the past week.

The latest to come forward is supermodel Janice Dickinson, 59.

She claimed the American actor and comedian had drugged and raped her more than 30 years ago.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the supermodel said the actor had given her a glass of red wine and a pill after dinner in 1982.

She said that Cosby invited her to Lake Tahoe, in California, where he was performing - on th pretext of discussing a job offer for her.

He was also giving advice on her singing career, the former America's Next Top Model judge said.

She woke up with her pajamas off

Dickinson claimed that the two returned to her room, where he gave her "wine and a pill."

She said: "Before I woke up in the morning, the last thing I remember was Bill Cosby in a patchwork robe, dropping (the garment) and getting on top of me.

"And I remember a lot of pain. The next morning, I remember waking up with my pajamas off and there was semen between my legs."

Dickinson said she tried to include the assault in her autobiography No Lifeguard on Duty: The Accidental Life of the World's First Supermodel, in 2002.

But Cosby's lawyers pressured her into silence.

She is not holding back now "because it's the right thing to do", she added.

"Stuffing feelings of rape and my unresolved issues with this incident has (driven) me into a life of trying to hurt myself because I didn't have counsel and I was afraid.

"I was afraid of being labeled a whore or a slut and trying to sleep my way to the top of a career that never took place."
