Game of Throne's Martin reacts with expletive at doubting fans
US fantasy drama, Game of Thrones (GOT), has become a worldwide phenomenon since its TV release in 2011, but fans are worried about one major aspect of the saga.
Its unwritten ending.
The show, based on the unfinished series of novels by US author, George R. R. Martin, has got many fans around the world feeling anxious about whether they will ever find out what happens at the very end of the saga.
Mail Online reported the sickly 65-year-old author telling Swiss newspaper, Tages-Anzeiger, that he found people speculating about his longevity "pretty offensive".
"I find that question pretty offensive, frankly, when people start speculating about my death and my health," the author reportedly told the Swiss publication.

The American novelist reacted to doubtful fans with a straight-forward "**** you to those people" paired with a rude finger gesture.
Martin's frail medical condition is rumoured to be caused by his obesity. And it definitely doesn't help that the author has, very evidently, slowed down with age.
It was a year ago that Martin claimed "he is hard at work" on The Winds of Winter, the sixth book of the seven-part series, saying he is "trying to finish up the 1,500-page tome as fast as he can."
Bottom line GOT fans, winter is coming, so keep your fingers crossed and just don't tell him about your planted seeds of doubt.
