Italian army drafted in to provide extra security for Kim-Kanye wedding

It is said to be the wedding of the decade. The bride and the groom are leaving nothing to chance.

Kim Kardashian, 33, and Kanye West, 36, are getting married at a 16th century fort in Florence, Italy, on Saturday.

Mail Online quoted unnamed sources as saying that non-uniformed Italian militia have been drafted in to assist the pair’s personal security team.

They will surround the fort ahead of the big day.

Despite claims that the wedding will be an intimate affair, the couple have reportedly invited 3,000 guests to celebrate with them.

Meanwhile, last minute preparations are underway at the historical venue — aerial shots show sound systems have been erected in the run up to the wedding.

ABC News reported that guests had to provide all their passport details beforehand.
Exact details have still not been given to the guests, but if they fly out around noon, they should be in Florence by 2 pm.
