Jason Biggs slammed for insensitive Malaysia Airlines tweet

It seems like celebrities will never learn not to tweet inappropriate comments.

US actor Jason Biggs, star of American Pie and Orange is the New Black, tweeted a joke shortly after it was announced that Malaysia Airlines plane MH17 was shot down in Ukraine on Thursday.

He sent out another two tweets asking how does anyone "mistakenly shoot down a commercial plane" and that it was "saddest for the victims and their families".

After receiving countless responses on how insensitive his first tweet was, Biggs retaliated, cursing at angry Twitter users, saying: "You don't have to think it's funny, or even be on my Twitter page at all."

He didn't stop there. He went on about how ridiculous it was that people thought he didn't have any empathy for the victims and started calling the angry Twitter users "losers" and to "channel your issues elsewhere".

Biggs finally seemed to snap out of his rants when he decided to remove all the inappropriate tweets and apologised.

Let's hope nobody else attempts to squeeze some humour out of this tragedy.
