K-pop artists who left
Popular member Jessica Jung was kicked out of K-pop girl group Girls' Generation as her newly-launched fashion line was reported to be in conflict with the group's work interest.
Jung released a statement, expressing shock and sorrow at being forced to withdraw from the group.
She will continue to be an artist under SM Entertainment but will focus on her fashion line.
Pretty boy Luhan filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment last week. He also asked to nullify his contract with the agency and to leave boyband EXO.
This comes a few months after ex-EXO member Kris did the same in May.
Luhan was reportedly overworked and often suffered from chest pains and headaches. Right after the news broke, he left a message on his Weibo, saying: "I am home!"
Lee Joon and Thunder
K-pop idol Lee Joon announced two days ago that he is leaving boy band MBLAQ after his contract expires.
He wanted to focus on acting instead of being in a boy band. Later in the day, fellow member Thunder made a similar announcement.
MBLAQ member G.O, who seemed to be affected by the news, tweeted right after the news was reported: "In the end, the care/consideration is what must endure the burden of selfishness."
