Man breaks into Sandra Bullock's home while she's asleep
Sandra Bullock was a victim to a break-in at her Beverly Hills home just hours after she picked up her Decade of Hotness honour at Spike TV's Guys Choice Awards on Saturday (June 7).
E! Online reported that NBC Investigations revealed that "an unidentified male in his early 30s allegedly gained entry into the Oscar winner's Los Angeles home early Sunday morning while she was inside."
The report also confirmed that the 49-year-old, who was asleep, wasn't harmed. CBS Los Angeles later reported that Joshua Corbett, 39, was arrested after police reached the scene at around 6.30am.
Police are said to have officially classified it as a "hot prowl burglary," or a burglary that takes place while someone is at home, but the authorities are also taking into consideration that the suspect may be a stalker.
The Telegraph reported that the Miss Congeniality star bought her seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion with views of the LA skyline in 2011 for US$16.2 million (S$20.26 million).
