You've never, ever seen a movie like Boyhood.
This one-of-a-kind coming-of-age story was shot over the course of 13 years by director Richard Linklater.
It chronicles the adventures of young Mason (Ellar Coltrane) from age five to 18, as he grows from a timid child to a smart young man.
We get to know Mason's goofy friends, his bullies, his first girlfriend.
His parents - played by Ethan Hawke and Patricia Arquette - are divorced.
And so as the years go by Mason must adapt to a couple of different step-fathers.
Mason ages before our eyes, and it's astonishing.
It's like watching one of those time-lapse videos of a blooming flower.
In a word, glorious.
