1. THE NEXT BIG THING
The Hollywood Reporter has called this 24-year-old the "next big thing".
It is not hard to see why, considering Robertson will be the star of one of the most anticipated movies this summer blockbuster season, Tomorrowland (opening here May 21), opposite leading man George Clooney.
She is following in the footsteps of Shailene Woodley, who also went from being a TV actress to movie star simply by scoring a film alongside Clooney in The Descendants in 2011.
2. SPARKING HER PASSION
Robertson's profile is getting a big boost with The Longest Ride, now showing in cinemas.
Adapted from Nicholas Sparks' novel, the romance sees her taking the lead as college student Sophia who falls in love with country bull-rider Luke (Scott Eastwood).
Growing up in the South shaped her interest in Sparks' movies, which are mostly set in Southern US cities.
She told The Hollywood Reporter: "Nicholas Sparks books and movies are a huge deal (in the South). A Walk To Remember was a huge movie for me."
3. GREAT SCOTT
Getting to work alongside a handsome co-star like Eastwood was a perk of the job, particularly when they shared several intimate moments.
"I had to stare at that white butt for so long, for so many hours!" she joked to Fashion & Style.
In another interview, she raved about how gorgeous Eastwood is and that he is a "very thoughtful" guy.
4. SEXY TIME
Robertson said that she was "comfortable" with Eastwood and director George Tillman Jr "by the time the making out scenes were shot".
She said: "It is freeing being open, having fun, being young and exploring life with another person. It's a cool thing to capture on film."
5. CAREER TIPS
Robertson, who began acting at 10, counts herself lucky to land sci-fi flick Tomorrowland and the chance to work with Clooney.
"(George) gave me some great advice on how to handle myself from this point forward, knowing that (Tomorrowland) would be a pretty big deal for me," she told Vanity Fair.
"He said to me 'Keep going, don't just ride on this movie and hope that it does something good for you. Get some momentum.'"
