1 SMALL SCREEN START
This English rose, 19, literally grew up before our eyes, or rather, the eyes of Game Of Thrones (GOT) fans.
With encouragement from her drama teacher, Turner, then 12, dyed her natural blonde hair auburn and auditioned for the role of tragic damsel Sansa Stark, one of the main characters in the hit TV series.
Turner won the part after five rounds of auditions.
2 TEENAGE REWIND
Turner's love for acting began at three, when her mother signed her up for drama classes. She might have missed out on a normal childhood due to her GOT commitments, but she gets a taste of it in new movie Barely Lethal.
The action comedy, which opens here tomorrow, sees Turner and US actress Hailee Steinfeld as teenage assassins who go undercover at a US high school.
Learning about high school experiences meant watching high school flicks such as The Breakfast Club and Mean Girls, Turner told MTV News. The Brit also got tips about surviving high school from her friends back home, whom she still keeps in touch with. She told The Telegraph that she visits them at university whenever she's not working.
3 MARVEL GIG
Turner told Entertainment Weekly last year that GOT opened many doors for her and she would one day like to "do a Marvel project with superheroes".
Her wish has come true and she has gone from playing one famous redhead to another - telepathic mutant Jean Grey in X-Men: Apocalypse.
"Working on X-Men is a lot of fun," she told film site Collider, adding that it was exciting to play a younger version of Famke Janssen, who played Grey in three X-Men movies.
"(Famke) portrayed her so well in the past and this is a whole new challenge, figuring out the way they became who they are."
4 NATURAL KLUTZ
Turner confessed to being extremely clumsy, much like her idol, US actress Jennifer Lawrence.
She told Tatler: "For some reason, when I am doing ballet, I am okay, but I literally take off my ballet shoes and fall over and hit my face."
5 BUDDING FASHIONISTA
She told The Telegraph that one perk of being well known is getting to wear designer clothes for her red carpet events.
"I'm learning a lot about fashion, but I haven't quite figured out my style," she said. "I mainly wear jeans and trainers."
