To say I relate to this movie is to reveal my age.

While We're Young revolves around a mid-40s couple (Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts) who find themselves enamoured with the spontaneous lives of a pair of 20-somethings (Adam Driver and Amanda Seyfried).

The more the couple interact with the hipster duo, they more they realise how dull they have become and work to reignite their romance and lives.

Of course, there is a twist, albeit a predictable one, at the end, which serves as the dramedy's ethical core.

Director-writer Noah Baumbach delivers a witty, relatable product that coasts on his cast's spot-on performances.

Watts, in particular, is amazing, especially in a scene where she suffers a panic attack.

There are some moments that strike so close to home that got me chuckling in delight.
