Beckham's kid makes music
Cruz Beckham, 11, the son of former England football star David Beckham and his fashion designer wife Victoria, launched his music career on Wednesday, releasing a song about Christmas for charity.
Proceeds from his debut single If Everyday Was Christmas will go to the Global's Make Some Noise charity, which supports projects for disadvantaged children and youths in Britain.
"It's two of my favourite things, singing and Christmas. And it's amazing to put them together," Cruz told the Capital Breakfast radio show.
He launched his Instagram page this week, drawing some 148,000 followers.
He has three siblings, including older brothers Brooklyn and Romeo. - REUTERS
Sting to perform in S'pore in May
Sting is coming to Singapore on May 28 for a concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium as part of his 57th & 9th Tour.
Members of the British singer-songwriter's official fan club, Sting.com, can purchase tickets today from 10am to Saturday, 11.59pm, before public sales start on Dec 15.
Tickets are priced at $108, $148, $198, $228, and $288 via all Sports Hub Tix channels.
Sting, 65, will be joined by a three-piece band including his long-time guitarist, Dominic Miller.
Special guest here will be Sting's son, British musician Joe Sumner.
