Getting to know Sungha Jung
Having captivated millions of fans with his music, Sungha Jung, 19, is back in Singapore for his concert tour and for his own competition - Sungha Jung Guitar Competition.
He started playing fingerstyle (or plucking) guitar back when he was nine and has since gained close to four million subscribers on YouTube and a total of over one billion views for his videos.
He performs acoustic renditions of music such as the theme from Pirates Of The Caribbean - which has over 49 millions views - and original compositions as well. Other than the acoustic guitar, he has also uploaded renditions on ukulele and electric guitar.
Jung currently has six albums which feature some of his original tunes.
