Nicki Minaj's request to speak at her former school rejected
She may be a superstar singer, but Nicki Minaj's request to give a pep talk to students at her former high school was rejected.
Believe it or not, the principal of Minaj's former school is Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, just turned her down, ET Online reported.
Minaj, 31, became a worldwide phenomenon ever since her debut album in 2010.
On Friday (Sept 12) morning, the 31-year-old tweeted:
Her Twitter followers were equally disappointed.
But soon they rallied around the star, assuring her that her story would have been nothing short of inspirational for the students.
Other famous alumni from the New York City high school include Jennifer Aniston, Liza Minnelli and Sarah Michelle Gellar.
Poor Nicki!
