Patrick Stewart classes up the ice bucket challenge
Patrick Stewart, star of Star Trek and X-Men, put his own twist on the ice bucket challenge that is current sweeping the Internet.
The challenge was started to raise awareness for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) by having people, mostly celebrities, drenching a bucket of ice water over themselves.
While we are not sure who challenged the 74-year-old, his response to the challenge was a definitely a show stopper.
The video starts with him writing a check for an undisclosed amount.
(Note: We're assuming he wrote it to a charitable organisation and not just to pay for the sharp looking jacket he was wearing.)
Then he pulls into the shot a bucket of ice ... was he really going to pour it over himself, bald head unprotected?
He answers our questions by proceeding to pour himself a drink.
While Buzzfeed thinks that Stewart's response has ended the ice bucket challenge as a concept, we're not too sure because the videos of people doing it are still popping up online.
We do agree, though, that his contribution to the craze is the classiest one yet.
