School of frock
It's back to post-awards season regular programming, with an emphasis on 'regular'
Premiere of The Perfect Match in Los Angeles
Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' hot girlfriend's boobage is distracting, but you can't deny she's slaying it in this slinky number.
JENNIFER GARNER (C+)
Premiere of Miracles From Heaven in Los Angeles
Dress: Oscar de la Renta
Shoes: Jimmy Choo
Garner is one of my favourite actresses who recently gave one of my favourite post-split interviews (you show that Ben Affleck!), but saccharine girly prom-wear is far from my favourite thing on her. She should not be raiding her daughters' closets.
MEL B (D)
America's Got Talent Season 11 kick-off event in Pasadena
Shoes: Giuseppe Zanotti
Here's Scary Spice giving us an eyeful of cleavage as usual. Tell me those eight buttons are not the hardest-working adornments in fashion history.
WILLOW SMITH (F)
Chanel 2016/2017 Fall/Winter ready-to-wear collection show in Paris
Jacket and catsuit: Chanel
This is a joke right? And Will and Jada Pinkett Smith's teen daughter being named the new Chanel ambassador must be the punchline. It's Paris Fashion Week, not an X-Men audition. You just can't take someone posing like that in glorified scuba gear seriously.
BLAKE LIVELY (B+)
White House State Dinner in Washington
Gown: Ralph & Russo
This is hardly the most jaw-dropping thing Lively has ever worn - it's even a little matronly. But the fancy silvery-blue bathrobe is event-appropriate and Ryan Reynolds gives any outfit an extra boost.
Between tacky Hudson and tasteful Hudson, I'll take the latter, who's been missing for a while now. A tortured tin foil dress just can't hold a candle to something elegant and understated like this pretty, soft pleated frock.
Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Los Angeles, Feb 28
Gown: Maria Lucia Hohan
Premiere of Kung Fu Panda 3 in London, March 6
Gown: J Mendel
